Cannabis Representative Handbook Review

Cannabis Bulletin

March 22, 2022

A comprehensive review of the Cannabis Representative Handbook (CRH) was recently undertaken in support of government’s red tape reduction initiative. As a result of this review, several policy amendments were approved. Highlights of the amendments include:

  • rearranging and simplifying the Qualified Cannabis Workers and Sell Safe sections (2.4 and 2.5), including eliminating the need to keep a log of Qualified Cannabis Workers and Sell Safe employees;
  • eliminating subsections in the handbook already contained within the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act (GLCA) and Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Regulation (GLCR); and
  • removing duplication of information throughout handbook.

The revised CRH may be accessed on AGLC’s website at aglc.ca.
