Effective March 25, 2024, AGLC’s new online licensing for liquor and cannabis licences, and public special event licences is available. The self-service platform supports new licence applications, reissued licences and cancelled licences, and allows users to make payments directly online. Learn more

    Club

    A private facility where non-profit organizations hold meetings and conduct activities.

    Canteens

    A facility for the Canadian forces, police services, or federal or provincial correctional training centres.

    Institutions

    A facility for post-secondary institutions or residential facilities, such as hospitals or nursing homes.

    Travellers' Lounge

    A room in a public transportation terminal, such as an airport lounge restricted to passengers waiting to board.

    Note: Applications may be filled out manually until June 21, 2024, after which time all liquor licence applications will be submitted through the online licensing portal.

    A Class A, B, or C licence may be extended to provide liquor service at a function away from the licensed premises.
