Dave has spent his career cultivating skills and knowledge by deliberately pushing himself outside his comfort zone. Starting with a 26-year career with the Edmonton Police Service, Dave held various positions including leading the canine unit, tactical team and in human resources focusing on promotion and staff development. Throughout his 11-year tenure at AGLC, Dave has ensured that team members have the most effective tools for the job and are supported by a collaborative environment where they can not only succeed in their role, but also prepare for the next steps in their careers. Dave is proud of AGLC’s innovative work to regulate and support business development, educate Albertans about the risks of their choices, and support essential services in our province.
